Introduction
The Agriculture and Food Security Lab is offering an internship for bachelor's, master's students, or recent graduates to join as a Research Assistant. This role focuses on conducting literature reviews and bibliometric analysis on sustainable farming practices. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about sustainable agriculture and food security research.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct an in-depth literature review on sustainable farming practices and their impact on agricultural productivity and food security.
- Perform bibliometric analysis to track research trends, key contributors, and influential studies in the field.
- Organise and summarise key findings to highlight advancements and gaps in sustainable farming research.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to the lab team.
- Collaborate with other team members and contribute to ongoing research in sustainable agriculture.
Requirements
- Current bachelor's, master's student, or recent graduate in a relevant field (Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, etc.).
- Strong interest in sustainable farming, food security, and environmental sustainability.
- Experience or interest in literature review methodologies and bibliometric analysis.
- Familiarity with research databases and bibliometric tools (e.g., Scopus, VOSviewer, etc.) is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
