Introduction
The Agriculture and Food Security Lab is offering an internship for bachelor's, master's students, or recent graduates to join as a Research Assistant. The focus of this internship will be conducting literature reviews and bibliometric analysis on the impact of climate change on agricultural productivity. This opportunity is perfect for those passionate about sustainable agriculture and climate change research.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review on the effects of climate change on agricultural productivity.
- Perform bibliometric analysis to identify research trends, key contributors, and important publications in the field.
- Organise and summarise key findings to highlight current research gaps and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to share with the lab team.
- Collaborate with other researchers in the lab and support ongoing research projects on agriculture and food security.
Requirements
- Current bachelor's, master's student, or recent graduate in a relevant field (Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Climate Studies, etc.).
- Strong interest in climate change, agriculture, and food security.
- Experience or willingness to learn literature review methodologies and bibliometric analysis tools.
- Proficiency with research databases and bibliometric tools (e.g., Web of Science, VOSviewer, etc.) is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
