Introduction
The Biopolymer Lab is offering an internship for bachelor's, master's students, or recent graduates to join as a Research Assistant. This role involves conducting primary research to assess the biodegradability of various biopolymers in marine, soil, and compost environments. It’s ideal for individuals interested in sustainability and environmental science.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct primary research on the degradation of biopolymers in different environments (marine, soil, compost).
- Assess and compare the biodegradability of various biopolymer materials.
- Collect and analyse data to understand the environmental impact of biopolymers.
- Prepare reports and presentations based on findings.
- Collaborate on related sustainability and biopolymer projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's student, or recent graduate in a relevant field (Environmental Science, Materials Science, Chemistry).
- Interest in biopolymers and environmental sustainability.
- Experience or willingness to learn primary research methods and data collection.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
