Introduction
The Public Health Lab is offering an internship for bachelor's, master's students, or recent graduates to join as a Research Assistant. This role focuses on conducting literature reviews and bibliometric analysis on disparities in healthcare access across different socioeconomic groups and the role of public health policies in addressing these inequalities. Duties and Responsibilities
- Review literature on health inequality and access to healthcare.
- Conduct bibliometric analysis to map key trends, contributors, and disparities.
- Summarise findings and highlight gaps in addressing healthcare inequalities.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the lab team.
- Collaborate on projects related to health equity and public health policy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's student, or recent graduate in a relevant field (Public Health, Sociology, Health Policy).
- Interest in healthcare inequality, health policy, and public health.
- Experience or interest in literature reviews and bibliometric analysis.
- Familiarity with research databases and tools (e.g., Scopus, VOSviewer).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
