Research Assistant - Algae Bioplastics

Introduction

Our Marine Biotechnology Lab is inviting applications for a Research Assistant position to conduct comprehensive literature reviews and bibliometric analysis on the use of algae as bioplastics. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates in marine science, biotechnology, or environmental science, who are interested in sustainable materials and marine resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform extensive literature reviews to track advancements and trends in the use of algae as bioplastics.
• Conduct bibliometric analysis to map the research landscape, identify key researchers, institutions, and publication trends.
• Assist in drafting reports and research papers for publication in scientific journals.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree programme in Marine Science, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in literature review and bibliometric analysis.
• Strong interest in sustainable development and marine biotechnology.
